Writers Organizations
The writers' group in Duluth, Minnesota, where
Mark Munger makes his home. They sponsor informative and enlightening
workshops and seminars for beginning and experienced writers, drawing on both
national and regional talent.
Headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba on the windy
Canadian prairie, this group has over 500 members and puts out a weekly email
alert about new writing oppertunities. The group's website is a fountain of
information about words and writing.
Far up north on the Canadian prairie there exists
another prestigious writing organization. You can find their wonderful

everything you ever wanted to know about Saskatchewan writers and writing.
Closer to home, this workshop group puts on an
annual festival in August (August 2, 2003) and promotes new writers and writing
by providing mentoring to those just beginning in the business of creative
